PHOENIX - Arizonar -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Aditya Krishnan (https://www.swlaw.com/people/aditya_krishnan) has joined Snell & Wilmer's Phoenix office as counsel in the intellectual property practice group.
Krishnan offers over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive patent prosecution, licensing, and litigation counsel to clients. His experience includes representing clients in a wide range of software and technology hardware patent matters, including, but not limited to, autonomous vehicles, streaming media, wireless standards, imaging products, virtualization, and Saas/cloud, and multi-tenant applications. Krishnan has represented clients in the automotive, aerospace, medical, software, and technology-related industries. He has extensive experience providing IP counsel to software start-up businesses. He also represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and European Patent Office (EPO) regarding patent appeals.

Krishnan has counseled on and drafted patent applications for a variety of technologies including: Cellular- 5G/4G protocol, power management, base stations, transceivers, CableTV backend/EPG/programming, streaming, cybersecurity, embedded software, control systems, SaaS platforms, JSON apps, compression apps, software platform development, containerization, analytics, database structures, NPL, graphic processing, interfaces, navigation software, edge applications, EPG, encryption, schedulers, routers, display devices, block detection, scaling, transcoding, data fusion, anomaly detection, automation, trajectory planning, vehicle systems, ML/AI, neural networks, block ledgers, bar code scanning, transcription, cloud/multi-tenant architecture, ethernet protocols, router, network devices, mixed signal, semiconductor, drone technologies, catheters, imaging devices, telecommunication hardware, robotics, automotive, aerospace, medical devices, and solar units.
Krishnan served as in-house IP counsel for several premier Silicon Valley technology companies and is a former primary patent examiner with the USPTO, where he had full signatory authority. While in-house, he was responsible for hiring and working closely with outside counsel. This experience combined with his deep technical knowledge makes Krishnan well-suited to assist businesses on the evolving issues involved in intellectual property development, protection, and strategy.
