Arizona: Governor Hobbs Announces Appointment of Joshua Steinlage to Coconino County Superior Court

​Phoenix, AZ ~ Phoenix, AZ - Governor Katie Hobbs has announced the appointment of Joshua Steinlage as the newest member of the Coconino County Superior Court. With a strong background in public service, Judge Steinlage brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Judge Steinlage's legal career began in 2005 when he joined the Coconino County Public Defender's Office. After more than a decade of dedicated service, he was appointed as a Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore in the Flagstaff Justice Court and a part-time Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore in 2015. Since January 2023, he has been serving as a full-time Judge Pro Tempore.

Governor Hobbs praised Judge Steinlage for his commitment to public service and his outstanding reputation as a judicial officer in Coconino County. She believes that his experience will be an asset to both him and the people of Arizona in his new role.

Judge Steinlage's appointment comes after the retirement of Judge Dan Slayton from Division Two of the Coconino County Superior Court. With this new appointment, Judge Steinlage is ready to continue serving his community with dedication and integrity.
