Phoenix, AZ ~ Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has paid tribute to the late Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who passed away on July 18th. In a statement, Governor Hobbs praised O'Connor's career as a trailblazer and public servant.

O'Connor was the first woman to be elected Arizona Senate Majority Leader and the first woman to serve on the Supreme Court. During her time on the bench, she was the decisive vote in some of the most critical court cases in US history.
