Bacchus Recognized as Top 100 Retailer Nationwide for 4th Consecutive Year
MILLBRAE, Calif. - Arizonar -- Bacchus Wine & Spirits, a specialty full-service retail merchant of fine wines and spirits located in the San Francisco Bay Area, announced today that it has moved up in rank to join the prestigious Top 20 winners of Beverage Dynamics Top 100 Retailers for 2022. This award recognizes retailers throughout the country who demonstrate innovation, excellent customer service and superior beverage alcohol industry knowledge. It is the fourth year in a row that Bacchus has been named to this list.
Bacchus Proprietor Quinton Jay accepted the award presented by the Beverage Alcohol Retailers conference, which held its formal awards gala last week in Orlando, Florida.

"In addition to a return to robust storefront sales, our e-commerce orders continue to grow at a brisk 20% clip, and we're doing more corporate and private events as workers return to the office and people enjoy social activities again," said Quinton Jay of Bacchus Wine & Spirits. "We also launched a new wine bar where people can stop by and sample curated wines or participate in weekly CMS/WSET blind tasting classes. And due to the immense popularity of our whiskey club, we've had to break it into two clubs—an American whiskey club and an international whiskey club, both of which grew at an astounding 50% last year."
Bacchus attracts a large local and national following due to its hand-selected wines and the fact that it carries the Bay Area's largest selection of whiskeys, including hard-to-find Pappy Van Winkle and rising star, hidden gems like Asaka Distillery's Japanese Whisky's U.S. debut. Regular wine tastings are starting again, along with brand new, in-person whisky educational tastings. Food and wine enthusiasts can also look forward to epicurean events ranging from private or corporate parties to multi-course dining experiences such as Wagyu 101, and the popular Truffle Mushroom dinner.
