~ The Main Library in Mesa is hosting a Big Book Sale on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12. The event will take place at the library's location on 64 E. First St. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to the organizers, a wide variety of books and magazines will be available for purchase at the sale. Fiction, romance, science fiction, youth and children's books are just some of the genres that will be featured. In addition, nonfiction books such as business/finance, religion, self-help, history, art, cookbooks and coffee table books will also be up for grabs.

Hardcover books will be priced at $1 each while paperbacks will only cost 50 cents. All proceeds from the sale will go towards supporting Mesa Public Library programs, services and improvements.
