Black Girls Brunch Returns HOME to Phoenix to Kickoff New Year

PHOENIX - Arizonar -- In just three years, Black Girls Brunch has built a brand that has reached national heights and touched nearly 2,000 women from across the country and beyond. On January 26, 2020, Black Girls Brunch returned 'home' to Phoenix to host its first SOLD OUT brunch event of the new year with more than 160+ women in attendance. This unique brunch experience took place at The Lola (6770 N Sunrise Blvd Suite 109, Glendale, AZ 85305), from 2:30pm to 6pm.

Black Girls Brunch is where strangers become sisters-friends! In this special space, women from all generations across the country gather for an opportunity to build with other women. According to the 2019 US Census Bureau, The Metropolitan Phoenix region currently ranks as fifth largest city in the US, yet of that, Black/African Americans only account for less than 7% of the total population. As the state continues to grow in population, there are large opportunities to provide resources and support. Founded by Phoenix native Gaybrielle Leann Gant, Black Girls Brunch seeks to provide a safe and inclusive space for black women to connect, celebrate and collaborate while building community through sisterhood.
