Celebrate Mesa Offers Fall Family Fun

Celebrate Mesa, a free and family ~ Mesa is set to host the Celebrate Mesa Fall Festival on Saturday, October 14th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Red Mountain Soccer Complex, 905 N. Sun Valley Blvd. The free and family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities for adults and children of all ages, including carnival rides, live music, wrestling matches, axe throwing, archery tag and more.

The festival will kick off with wrestling from Phoenix Championship Wrestling featuring men and women competing from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., followed by live music from Pandy Raye and the ContraBanditos and Bitter Creek as well as Battle of the Bands featuring youth bands competing for a grand prize of a studio recording at Stem Recording.

Children can enjoy a petting zoo, tot spot, bounce houses and kids' games while adults can check out Police, Fire and other City of Mesa vehicles and equipment or visit booths offering prizes. The Mesa Arts Center's Mobile Art-Based Engagement Lab (MABEL) will also be present as a pop-up community center on the go. Mrs Pott's Tea Party characters Ariel, Rapunzel and Moana will be available for photos with their fans!

The food court will offer more than a dozen food trucks selling everything from frybread to carne asada to soft pretzels, corn dogs and yogurt while Arizona Disabled Sports will be selling water and glow items to support upcoming competitions for athletes with disabilities.
