~ The City of Mesa Office of Economic Development has recently announced the addition of two new members to their team. Vince Orleck has been hired as the Project Manager, while Sky Stone will serve as the Program Assistant. Both individuals bring a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to supporting Mesa's economic growth.
Vince Orleck, who will take on the role of Project Manager, will be responsible for managing, marketing, and overseeing the facilities at Mesa Business Builder @ The Studios and LaunchPoint, Mesas Technology Incubator. With almost a decade of experience in the Greater Phoenix entrepreneurial community, Vince is a well-respected leader in the field. Prior to joining the City of Mesa, he served as the Digital Communications Manager at ASU Knowledge Enterprise where he played a crucial role in marketing efforts for various initiatives such as the Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute and ASU Economic Development.
In addition to his work at ASU, Vince has also been actively involved in building the entrepreneurial ecosystem within yesPHX community. He has also served as an advisor for HUUB and was a lead organizer for PHX Startup Week. Furthermore, he held the position of president at Social Media Club PHX.

Joining Vince on the team is Sky Stone who will serve as Program Assistant for Mesa Business Builder @ The Studios. With a BS in Digital Audiences from ASU and an AAS in film production from Scottsdale Community College, Sky brings her expertise in digital media and community service to her new role.
Sky has been with the city since 2021 when she initially worked with the Housing Department on the Emergency Rental Assistance Program. She later went on to become a House Manager at Mesa Arts Center. Her experience also includes working with local entrepreneurs at Scottsdale Civic Centers Digital Media Lab and teaching residents about technology.
Mesa Economic Development Director Jaye ODonnell expressed her excitement about welcoming Vince and Sky to their team. She believes that their diverse backgrounds and passion for small business support and development will be invaluable as they continue to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in Mesa.
