NEW YORK - Arizonar -- CLUBWAKA, the country's premier social club providing adult sports leagues, social activities, and events, is proud to announce the launch of its new website,, on its 25th anniversary. The new website features more ways for adults to find fun and friends to continue the club's legacy of creating life-changing experiences.

So much has changed in peoples' lives over the past three years, let alone the past twenty-five. But the mental and physical health benefits of being active together with people in real life remain the same. Being social is just a core part of being human.

When friends David Lowry and Jimmy Walicek found it harder to meet new people while in the daily grind of adult life, they decided to do something about it. Together with three others, they built a social club where people could easily meet new people while having fun at the same time. Inspired by the joy of kickball games they played as kids, they founded the World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA) in 1998. As WAKA gained popularity nationwide, the organization added other fun sports leagues, including volleyball, dodgeball, and lawn games like cornhole, which prompted the name change to CLUBWAKA. Since 2016, this name has reflected their commitment to, and emphasis on, being a social club first and foremost.
