SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 30, 2024 ~ Hugh Lytle, the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Equality Health, has been named a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2024 Pacific Southwest Award by Ernst & Young LLP (EY US). This prestigious award recognizes audacious leaders who disrupt markets, revolutionize sectors, and have a transformational impact on lives. Lytle's innovative approach to value-based care in the U.S. healthcare system has earned him this recognition.
As a "healthcare rebel," Lytle is driving the important change from fee for service to value-based care in America. His company, Equality Health, focuses on addressing health inequities in underserved communities and shifting the focus from quantity to quality of care. This results in enhanced patient experiences and improved health outcomes at a reduced cost.
Lytle's distinct Medicaid-first model enables independent primary care providers to be successful in value-based care. This is crucial as these providers are an essential resource in the U.S. healthcare system. His dedication to creating a more equitable and effective healthcare system has caught the attention of EY US and their independent panel of judges.
