Phoenix, AZ ~ Phoenix, AZ - In a press release today, Governor Katie Hobbs announced the appointment of Lee Stein to the Arizona Board of Regents. With over 25 years of legal experience, including serving as a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and Special Assistant Attorney General in the Arizona Attorney General's Office, Mr. Stein brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Governor Hobbs expressed her confidence in Mr. Stein, stating that his track record of fighting for accountability and transparency makes him well-suited for the position on the Board of Regents. In addition to these roles, Mr. Stein has also served as partner and Co-Chair of Perkin Coie's firm-wide investigations and white collar defense practice group. He has experience as a prosecutor in various cases, including healthcare fraud regulation, internal investigations, and anti-corruption.
As an Arizona native himself, Mr. Stein holds degrees from both the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona.
