~ Pentagon Technologies Group, Inc. (Pentagon), a subsidiary of Kurita Water Industries Ltd., has announced plans to build a new cleaning facility in the Gateway area of southeast Mesa. The facility, expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2024, will serve as a critical materials supplier for advanced chamber cleaning equipment consumables to leading-edge semiconductor foundries.
The project, representing a capital investment of over $50 million, is currently underway with all necessary building and land acquisition, facility design, and permitting completed. Spanning 65,500 square feet, it will be Pentagon's largest precision cleaning facility and will utilize cutting-edge technologies and optimized operation processes to meet the needs of industry leaders. The company estimates that the new facility will create up to 300 new jobs over the next several years.
