PITTSBURGH, March 7, 2025 ~ Phoenix inventor creates new helmet for increased motorcycle safety
An inventor from Phoenix, Arizona has recently unveiled a new patent-pending design for a motorcycle helmet that aims to increase rider safety and awareness. The HELMET CAM, as it is called, offers a 360-degree view of the rider's surroundings, eliminating the need for them to turn and look backwards when changing lanes or merging into traffic.
The idea for the improved helmet came from the inventor's desire to address blind spots that can often lead to accidents on the road. "I wanted to create an improved helmet that allows a motorcyclist to see blind spots when changing lanes or merging into traffic," said the inventor.
