LOS ANGELES - Arizonar -- The community is invited to gather for the Leimert Juneteenth Community Celebration on Friday, June 19, from noon to 7 p.m. in Leimert Park Village, Los Angeles, CA 90008.

The celebration will honor Juneteenth through community connection, culture, and collective remembrance in one of Los Angeles' most historic Black cultural districts. The free community event is open to the public and will bring together residents, families, artists, vendors, and community partners for a day of unity, reflection, and celebration.

Participating vendors, sponsors, and community partners include The Plant Chica, Queen Aminah's Clothing, Harun Coffee, TBMPAC, KAOS Network, Gorilla Rx Wellness, All Chill, Art + Practice, LA Commons, The World Stage, Ora, Sika, Neighbors, Lore Bookstore, Sole Folks, Pray For The Hood, and Community Lounge.

Supporting historical events like the Leimert Juneteenth Community Celebration helps preserve cultural memory, educate future generations, uplift local voices, and strengthen the community spaces where Black history, art, and civic life continue to thrive.
