MESA, Ariz. - Arizonar -- MBK Senior Living announced today the completion of its acquisition of Mariposa Point of Mesa. The company will now operate the 83-unit assisted living and memory care community under the name Sky Vista. This purchase expands MBK Senior Living's footprint in the Valley to five communities and the company's portfolio to 34 throughout the Western United States.
"This acquisition marks another step forward in our overall strategic growth plan, and closes on the heels of MBK assuming the operations of Savanna House in Gilbert, Arizona earlier this month," said Jeff Fischer, president of MBK Senior Living.
"As one of the hottest markets in the country, we will continue to evaluate investment opportunities in Arizona to determine if they align with our long-term goals," added Fischer.
Located at 1248 S. Crismon Road in northeast Mesa, Sky Vista comprises one 62,000 square-foot one-story building including private and semi-private apartment living, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. The community's thoughtful, open concept design includes numerous common spaces, living rooms, walking paths and courtyard, bar and bistro, internet lounge, full-service hair salon and spa, restaurant-style and private dining rooms, and computer and game rooms.
