~ Mesa Arts Center Announces Four New Shows for 20th Anniversary Performing Live Season
Mesa Arts Center is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an exciting lineup of new shows. The performing arts venue has recently announced the addition of four new shows to its already impressive season, which was previously announced on April 29.
The new shows include illusionist Michael Carbonaro on August 16, country entertainers Home Free on October 10, comedian Vir Das on November 8, and guitarist Jesse Cook on January 31. These shows are sure to add even more excitement and variety to the already diverse lineup.
Tickets for these new shows will go on sale starting June 14 at 10 AM. They can be purchased through mesaartscenter.com or by calling 480-644-6500.
Michael Carbonaro, best known as the star and executive producer of truTV's hit series "The Carbonaro Effect," will be performing his show "Lies on Stage" on August 16 at 7:30 PM. With frequent appearances on popular TV shows such as "Happily Divorced," "30 Rock," "Grey's Anatomy," and "CSI Miami," Carbonaro has become a household name in the world of magic and entertainment. His unique blend of humor and charisma, along with his inventive illusions, have captivated audiences of all ages.

On October 10 at 7:30 PM, Home Free will take the stage with their Crazy(er) Life Tour. This all-vocal country group has made a name for themselves in the music industry with nearly 600,000 album equivalents sold globally. They have also amassed over 700 million views and have been declared as country music fans' favorite a cappella group by Taste of Country. The tour will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their breakout album "Crazy Life" released after winning NBC's fourth season of "The Sing Off" in 2013.
Comedian and actor Vir Das will bring his Mind Fool Tour to Mesa Arts Center on November 8 at 7:30 PM. With The New York Times calling him "the globalization of stand-up," Das has become one of the most beloved voices in comedy worldwide. As India's biggest stand-up comedian and a Bollywood star, he was the second best-selling live act in the country last year. His international tour will make stops in countries on every continent except Antarctica in 2023-2024.
Finally, on January 31 at 8 PM, Jesse Cook will take the stage with his unique blend of rhythm and rhumba. An accomplished guitarist, producer, and filmmaker, Cook has sold over 2 million albums and has performed thousands of concerts around the world. His band is excited to bring their "Libre Tour" to audiences across North America and beyond.
