~ The Governor's Office of Highway Safety has partnered with the Mesa Police Department to enforce Arizona's seat belt and child safety seat laws in an effort to save more lives on the state's roadways this month.
Arizona currently operates under a secondary seat belt law and a primary child safety seat law, and the enforcement campaign will focus on increasing visibility of these laws. As part of the national Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement campaign, law enforcement agencies across Arizona will be increasing patrols and other enforcement efforts to remind drivers that buckling up is the law.
