~ Chris Hassert, Water Resources Director for Mesa, Arizona, has been appointed as a delegate to the Arizona Reconsultation Committee (ARC). The ARC is responsible for developing Arizona's position in the renegotiation of the Colorado River 2007 Interim Operating Guidelines. As one of the few municipal representatives, Chris will help ensure that Mesa has a voice in these important discussions. His role will be to help guide the future use and allocation of Colorado River Water beginning in January 2027 and beyond. The city of Mesa expressed their gratitude for Chris' leadership in helping ensure that their water portfolio remains strong and diverse.
