The FAIR Committee is responsible for developing policy positions and leading NLC's advocacy on issues involving intergovernmental relations, Census, municipal bonds and capital finance, municipal management, tax reform, anti-trust issues, citizen participation and civil rights and labor relations.

"Bringing the Arizona perspective to the FAIR committee is important and I am glad to provide that viewpoint, said Councilmember Spilsbury. "I look forward to meeting and working with my colleagues on this committee to shape policies that will make an important difference in cities across the country."
