~ Mesa Public Library Encourages Community to Join Spring Reading Program Through Beanstack App

Mesa Public Library is inviting everyone to participate in their annual Spring Reading Program, which has been expanded this year to include people of all ages. The program, which runs from March 1st to April 12th, offers a variety of challenges for different age groups and rewards for completing them.

For prereaders ages 0-3, the challenge is to read five books and complete simple early literacy activities. Those who successfully complete the program will receive three virtual raffle tickets for a chance to win exciting prizes.

Children ages 4-12 can choose between two options: Cover to Cover by books or Cover to Cover by minutes. The first option requires reading up to 15 books, while the second option involves reading up to 900 minutes. For every five books read, participants will earn an In-N-Out burger voucher (up to three burgers). Completing either challenge will earn them two virtual raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes.

The Spring Reading Program also includes a challenge for teens (ages 13-17) and adults (ages 18+). They are encouraged to read up to 600 minutes (about 20 minutes a day) and can earn a bookmark at 300 minutes and a sticker at 600 minutes. Completing the program will earn them three virtual raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes.

Participants who reach their reading goals can collect their points level prizes at any Mesa Public Library location. This year marks the third year of partnership between Mesa Public Library and In-N-Out Burger for the Cover to Cover Club.

The Spring Reading Program is part of Mesa Public Library's "Mesa Reads" initiative, which aims to promote reading and literacy throughout the community. It encourages community members of all ages to read at least 15 minutes daily. For more information on how to sign up and participate, please visit mesalibrary.org.
