Mesa Police Chief Speaks Out About Teen Violence And The Recent Arrest Of A Juvenile Suspect

~ Mesa Police were alerted to an aggravated assault of a teenager that occurred in May 2023, on January 4, 2024. After conducting interviews with the victim and witnesses, detectives were able to identify a 17-year-old suspect through their investigation.

The juvenile suspect was apprehended and taken into custody on January 11, 2024. He is currently being held at the Maricopa County Juvenile Detention Center.
