The annual Cinco de Mayo DUI Task Force is a local enforcement activity with the mission of removing impaired drivers from the road and creating safer streets throughout the valley. This initiative also aims to decrease the number of vehicle collisions caused by impaired driving.

In light of this, the Mesa Police Department is urging everyone to celebrate responsibly and designate a sober driver. They also encourage individuals to report any reckless, unsafe, or suspected DUI driving to their local law enforcement. The nonemergency line for the Mesa Police Department is 480-644-2211. Let's all do our part in keeping our roads safe this holiday weekend.
