~ As the holiday season approaches, the Mesa Police Department is ramping up efforts to ensure the safety of our roads. This year, they will be joining forces with the Governors Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) DUI Holiday Task Force. The initiative will run from now until Wednesday, January 1, 2025, with a focus on DUI enforcement between 5 p.m. and 3 a.m. on key event nights.

The annual Holiday DUI Task Force brings together various local law enforcement agencies with a common goal: to remove impaired drivers from our roadways and make our streets safer for everyone in the valley. The Mesa Police Department is dedicated to reducing collisions caused by impaired driving and the resulting injuries and fatalities.
