Mesa Public Library Invites Community to Create Cards for First Responders

Trending...
~ Mesa Public Library is gearing up for the upcoming 9/11 National Day of Service by hosting special cardmaking events to honor the city's first responders. The library is inviting residents of all ages to participate in these events and show their gratitude to Mesa's police officers and firefighters.

Families, children, and individuals are welcome to drop-in at any of the three library branches on September 2nd, 3rd, or 4th from 4 to 6 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to get creative and design cards or write heartfelt messages of thanks for local first responders. These hands-on activities not only provide a fun and meaningful way for the community to come together but also allow them to reflect on the spirit of service and express their appreciation for those who protect and serve Mesa every day.
