More Opportunities to Imagine Tomorrow's Mesa

~ Mesa is offering more opportunities for residents to provide input and shape the city's future. The City will be hosting multiple events in each of the six City Council Districts to explain the planning process, answer questions and get feedback.

The first event will be held at Mesa Market Place Swap Meet (District 5) on Friday, March 17 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 10550 E. Baseline Road, followed by Bell Bank Park Farmers Market (District 6) on Sunday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 6321 S. Ellsworth Drive, Farmers Market at Mesa Arts Center (District 4) on Saturday, March 25 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Custard with Councilmember Freeman (District 1) on Wednesday, March 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., Jefferson Recreation Center Carnival (District 2) on Friday, March 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Dobson Ranch Annual Meeting and Car Show (District 3) on Tuesday, April 11 from 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m..

In addition to the General Plan update, Mesa is also updating its Transportation, Transit, Water and Balanced Housing Master Plans as part of its vision for Tomorrow's Mesa initiative which is mandated by the State of Arizona every ten years and must be adopted by June 2024 with voter ratification in November 2024 following extensive public engagement throughout 2023 .
