North Dakota Tees Up Legendary Fan Experiences at 2024 WM Phoenix Open

This is the first time that North Dakota Tourism has sponsored the WM Phoenix Open, and they are excited to showcase their "Legendary" presence at the tournament. From standout golf courses to iconic outdoor adventures, North Dakota Tourism is eager to share all that their state has to offer with fans.

"We see our participation in the WM Phoenix Open as an incredible platform to not only showcase North Dakota's amazing golf courses, but also engage with fans and highlight the possibilities of living and working in our state," said Sara Otte Coleman, Director of Tourism and Marketing for the North Dakota Department of Commerce. To kick off their sponsorship, North Dakota Tourism will debut a new video featuring native actor Josh Duhamel as an enthusiastic ambassador for the state. The video will showcase golf road trips at three top-rated courses: The Links of North Dakota near Ray, Hawktree Golf Club in Bismarck, and Bully Pulpit Golf Course in Medora.

In addition to Duhamel's involvement, business and community leaders from throughout North Dakota will also be present at the tournament to provide personal insights on tourism, talent recruitment, and workforce development. This aligns with North Dakota's "Find the Good Life" initiative which aims to match potential residents with careers and communities within the state.

Otte Coleman emphasizes that this sponsorship is a valuable opportunity for North Dakota to reach a key audience as golf continues to be a top interest for potential visitors. The direct-flight market of Phoenix also provides a unique opportunity for the state to showcase its offerings.
