DUBLIN and STAMFORD, Conn., March 6, 2025 ~ In a joint announcement today, Phoenix Aviation Capital and AIP Capital revealed their latest acquisition of an Airbus A321neo aircraft on a long-term lease with IndiGo from ORIX Aviation. This marks the second transaction between Phoenix and AIP Capital with ORIX, solidifying their strong partnership.
The aircraft, bearing manufacturers serial number 11845, is a 2024 vintage Airbus A321neo powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines. This acquisition further expands Phoenix's fleet as a full-service aircraft lessor and aligns with AIP Capital's focus on asset-based finance opportunities.

Gibson Dunn served as transaction counsel to Phoenix and AIP Capital while O'Melveny acted as transaction counsel to ORIX Aviation. KPMG provided tax advice to Phoenix and AIP Capital for this acquisition. With this successful deal, all parties involved are excited for the future prospects of their partnership.
