Resume and Career Services Launches Career Advancement Program

New platform provides job seekers with the tools they need to land their next position faster

PHOENIX - Arizonar -- Nearly a year in the making, Resume and Career Services is excited to announce the launch of its new website designed to help job seekers land their next role. Going live during the Update Your Resume Month is more than a coincidence, as having a great resume is a huge part of a successful job search. But it's not all about resumes; there's preparing for a job search, mastering LinkedIn, excelling in interviews, and securing multiple job offers. In short, Resume and Career Services offers job seekers the full package.

A group effort headed by Amanda Miller, candidate experience manager at Resume and Career Services, with collaboration from JT Healy Media and Factor 1 Studios, as well as marketers and on-air talent, the website was a huge undertaking. It arose out of a desire to support job seekers and draws on Miller's more than two decades of experience working with job seekers.

Resume and Career Services' platform, dubbed Career Advancement Program, is designed to educate, empower, and help candidates secure employment through a series of self-directed courses. The six courses encompass launching a career search, LinkedIn, resume writing, networking, interviewing, and getting the job. Each course has up to 20 lessons, delivered in written form as well as through videos, many with accompanying worksheets, checklists, templates, and ebooks. The program is available for a monthly subscription fee of $99.99, which is discounted to $59.99 for the launch.

Although the program is self-directed, members will never be alone on their journey. They have access to the Resume and Career Services staff of career coaches, resume writers, and recruiters, as well as to other members through an online community. Plus, each member receives customized feedback and suggestions on how to improve their resumes and LinkedIn profiles as part of their benefits.

"In time, we expect to add additional a la carte options, including done-for-you solutions such as resume writing and additional time with our coaches," intimated Miller. "This is just the tip of the iceberg. We are so excited to offer this to job seekers and make a true difference in their results."
