AI-Driven, 3D-Printed Humanoid Robot Frees Humans from "Dirty, Dangerous, Dull, Dexterous" Jobs
PHOENIX - Arizonar -- Following its global debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, REVOBOTS will unveil TASKBOT, its AI-powered, 3D-printed humanoid robot, for the first time in North America at the AI Venture Network (AIVN) Showcase in Phoenix on April 17, 2025.
This high-profile event marks a defining moment for REVOBOTS and Arizona's robotics ecosystem. TASKBOT is a breakthrough system built on a Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) learning model, where human trainers—known as REVO Pilots—guide its early movements in real time. Rather than relying on pre-programmed routines, TASKBOT learns by observing and responding to these demonstrations, enabling it to quickly acquire new skills with precision, adaptability, and context awareness.
"Traditionally, robots have needed highly controlled environments, doing the same motion over and over," said Kent Gilson, REVOBOTS' CTO, in a recent demonstration. "TASKBOT is different—it can quickly learn tasks from people. These robots are designed to help businesses fill jobs they can't find workers for, tackling work that often goes unfilled."

A Scalable Solution to the Global Labor Shortage
TASKBOT is engineered to perform tasks that are dirty, dangerous, dull, or dexterous—roles that are often difficult or undesirable for human workers. By offloading these tasks, it frees people to focus on more creative, meaningful, and fulfilling work. With labor shortages expected to leave more than 85 million jobs unfilled globally by 2030, resulting in an estimated $8.5 trillion in lost annual revenue, the need for scalable solutions like TASKBOT has never been more urgent.
The system's HITL model enables fast, intuitive task acquisition during early deployment, with the ability to transition to autonomous operation while still allowing human oversight when needed. This design makes TASKBOT highly capable and highly deployable across a wide range of industries—from manufacturing and logistics to service environments and beyond.
"This isn't just about launching a robot," said André Christian, Co-Founder and CMO of REVOBOTS. "It's about transforming the workforce and redefining how humans and intelligent machines collaborate. With TASKBOT, we're reshaping the Future of Work. Robotics Innovation Month isn't just symbolic—it's a signal that our state is ready to lead, with the talent, momentum, and shared vision to back it up."
