SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Arizonar -- Royse Contemporary is thrilled to present " Reverence of Place & Time", the highly anticipated solo exhibition of Peter Brian Klein. Debuting his latest collection of brilliant color photography capturing the majestic beauty of Northern Arizona. A true master of his craft, and Klein has created stunning color dual layered photographic prints on polished acrylic. "Each image transcends traditional landscape photography, transporting the viewer to this splendid and magical place, capturing the true evocative beauty of nature in each image," states Nicole Royse, Curator.
The eroded volcanic remains of the San Francisco Peaks mark the highest point of elevation in Arizona, a sacred sight revered by Native Americans. As a lifelong native Klein wanted to capture the affinity he has for Northern Arizona, while expressing his reverence for the indigenous people and the cultural significance that it represents. "Evolving from the ashes of ancient volcanic devastation, this place represents something quite different to me than it does to the Hopi of Black Mesa, we are equally in awe of the San Francisco Peaks and the landscapes they loom over." In his latest collection, he has captured breathtaking images of Lockett Meadow during the Summer solstice, as an expression of time and gratitude for the solace he found in their shadows. "We all must all work together to protect this majestic natural wonder that we have come to admire," declares Klein.
