BENSON, Ariz. - Arizonar -- Silver West Records, a subsidiary of Silver West Entertainment LLC, proudly announces the digitally remastered re-release of "In Remembrance of Me", the cherished country-western gospel song originally recorded in 1984 by Wayne Landes & Southland.

Written by acclaimed California country-gospel songwriter Alice Rene Loudermilk, "In Remembrance of Me" stands as one of the most heartfelt compositions from the era's West Coast gospel movement. The song blends warm baritone vocals with Southland's signature acoustic harmonies, creating a reverent and deeply moving tribute rooted in traditional country-gospel storytelling.

A Legacy Reintroduced

Wayne Landes, known for his work with The Crownsmen, collaborations with The Range Riders, and appearances alongside Country Congregation, brought a unique multi-instrumental richness to Southland's sound. Their 1984 recording of "In Remembrance of Me" became a favorite among regional gospel audiences, circulating through church concerts, gospel sings, and small-6market Christian radio.
