PHOENIX - Arizonar -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Phoenix associate Anne Bolamperti (https://www.swlaw.com/people/anne_bolamperti) was elected to the Member at Large position of the State Bar of Arizona Intellectual Property Executive Council (https://azbar.org/for-lawyers/communities/secti...). She will serve from 2021 to 2024.

The IP Executive Council's mission is to maintain a high standard of professional ethics in the practice of the profession of patent and associated fields of law; to aid in the development of the patent, trademark and copyright laws, the administration thereof, and the procedure in connection therewith by the Patent Office, the courts or other offices or tribunals charged therewith; to take action concerning amendments to the patent, trademark, and copyright laws and the Rules of Practice of the Patent Office, and other offices or tribunals charged with the administration of such laws; to protect the administration of such laws against practices and practitioners tending to impose upon the public or otherwise to bring the patent, trademark or copyright systems into disrepute; to provide a medium by which relations and exchanges of viewpoint may be had with persons and organizations having related interests in the fields of patents, trademarks and copyrights and with the public at large; and to promote social intercourse among its members.

At Snell & Wilmer, Bolamperti assists clients in identifying, protecting and maximizing the value of their intellectual property. In that regard, she has experience conducting intellectual property audits; preparing patent, copyright and trademark applications; and managing global trademark portfolios for companies. Bolamperti prepares relevant agreements for clients, including intellectual property assignment agreements, license agreements and confidentiality agreements. Her practice further includes assisting clients in handling intellectual property transfer and due diligence during mergers and acquisitions.

Bolamperti is involved in Snell & Wilmer's intellectual property litigation practice at all levels, from drafting cease and desist letters to preparing for trial in trademark infringement and trade secret matters in federal court. Complementing her intellectual property practice, she also is a member of the firm's cybersecurity and data privacy group. Bolamperti has extensive experience drafting terms and conditions for websites, privacy policies, CCPA notices and cookie policies. She works closely with companies to help ensure that they are CCPA and GDPR compliant.

Bolamperti maintains an active pro bono practice with the Maricopa County Volunteer Lawyers Program, where she manages adult guardianship cases, among other pro bono opportunities.
