PHOENIX - Arizonar -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that the firm has been ranked as a 2022 Top Patent Law Firm by Juristat, a robust patent analytics platform, for the fourth consecutive year.
"Part of our commitment to being our client's perfect fit in the intellectual property group is being relentless in getting patents allowed, and the attorneys at Snell and Wilmer, I'm proud to say, do a very good job at just that across a wide range of technologies, including chemical and materials engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic commerce, and medical devices," noted Ryan Ricks, Phoenix partner.
The 111 firms on Juristat's 2022 rankings earned their spot through exceptional performance in three key areas— number of applications filed, allowance rate, and average number of office actions before allowance. This analysis was conducted between December 2022 and February 2023, and analyzed public applications disposed (or in the case of the first metric, applications filed) between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020. To qualify for inclusion, a firm must have filed a minimum of 100 applications in a USPTO technology center (TC) during that time period, ensuring the firm has extensive experience in that technology center and providing an appropriate-sized dataset to evaluate performance metrics.
