New Dark Fantasy from SandDancer Publications Praised for "Exquisite Writing" and Moral Depth
TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizonar -- SandDancer Publications is pleased to announce that Tenebroso, the latest collaboration between authors C.S. Kading and Tony Fuentes, has received an enthusiastic review from Readers' Favorite, one of the largest book review and award contest sites on the Internet.
Readers' Favorite has earned the respect of major publishers including Random House, Simon & Schuster, and HarperCollins. The organization holds an A+ BBB accreditation — a distinction rare among book review companies — and has received both the "Best Websites for Authors" and "Honoring Excellence" awards from the Association of Independent Authors.

Tenebroso is the Midnight Rider — a fearsome supernatural being with a thirst for justice. Alguacila Rosa Delgado is an officer of the law who tracks the monster to avenge the killing of her partner. Also on his trail are Inquisitor Yolanda Torres and her dubious acolyte. It's not a difficult trail to follow: Tenebroso attacks evildoers on moonless nights, leaving behind bodies marked with his signature. Their pursuit intertwines with the story of Javi, who is also driven by a quest for vengeance. As the corruption of the victims — and their ties to the powerful — comes to light, all are forced to ask: who is the real monster?

Set in the Imperium, a richly imagined world with echoes of medieval and early modern Spain, the Old West, and criminal cartels, Tenebroso showcases Kading and Fuentes at the height of their craft. Every word is chosen and placed with precision. The writing and plot are the perfect vessel for this grim, morally complex story — fast-moving action layered with questions about the monsters we make of ourselves. Highly recommended for readers who enjoy paranormal and gothic mysteries, horror, and immersive world-building. Even those who don't typically choose these genres will be won over by the quality of the writing, storytelling, and moral depth.
Tenebroso is Book 4 of The Realm of Gothika series and can be read as a stand-alone novel. It is currently available at books2read.com/Tenebroso.
