SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Arizonar -- Royse Contemporary is excited to present "The Print Show", the solo exhibition of renowned artist Gennaro Garcia. This exhibition highlights a unique collection of Unframed Art from the artist. Showcasing a dynamic and vivid collection of new work, focusing on brilliant monosilk prints. This show highlights the artist's distinctive style, fresh voice, engaging subject matter and vivid creations. "Art is addictive and therapeutic, it is the best way to communicate the way I feel, think, love", affirms Garcia.
Garcia infuses his work with familiar imagery and subjects that are inspired by his dual identities as both Mexican and American giving us a true authentic Latino immigrant perspective, states Curator, Nicole Royse. He has masterfully fused the vibrant color palette of his childhood in Mexico with his impeccable world-class skill, utilizing a combination of techniques, blending old and new world.

Garcia is a native of San Luis, Sonora, Mexico, migrating to Arizona in his early twenties with drive, passion and the desire to create art. His work is featured in 10 different galleries in both the United States and Mexico and numerous private collections, including representation by Royse Contemporary in Scottsdale. His work has been exhibited in more than 80 exhibitions in the last 5 years. Garcia is the recipient of several awards including the Masters of the Southwest Award presented by the Phoenix Home & Garden and the Hispanic Heritage Award presented by Cox Communications and the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is the resident artist at Xico Inc.- Latin & Native American Arts Organization.
As a seasoned artist, advocate, and chef he has brilliantly melded together all of his passions. He has bridged his love and passion for the arts and the culinary world by venturing into the restaurant design field. As of now he has worked on the following restaurants: King and Queen, Barrio Queen, Tempo Urban Kitchen, Tio Chano, El Sonorense, Ghost Ranch and Co-Owner of Taco Chelo.

"The Print Show" will open to the public Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6-9pm coinciding with the Scottsdale ArtWalk, with an opportunity to meet the artist and curator. This show will be on display through February 13, 2022 at Royse Contemporary located at 7077 E. Main Street, Suite 6, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 in the Scottsdale Arts District. The gallery is open to the public Thursday 6-9pm, Friday 10-1pm and Saturday 12-5pm, or by Private appointment.
