PHOENIX, March 5, 2025 ~ Thompson Thrift, a nationally recognized real estate company and one of the leading multifamily developers in the country, recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their latest project, Stella. The 308-unit, Class A multifamily community is located in the Phoenix suburb of San Tan Valley and welcomed its first residents in the winter of 2024. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of this summer.
According to Angie Atkins, senior vice president of community management for Thompson Thrift, Stella embodies the company's dedication to creating exceptional rental communities that offer both style and quality. "With resort-style living and luxury conveniences at the forefront, Stella reflects Thompson Thrift's commitment to creating exceptional rental communities that deliver both style and quality," said Atkins. "Our team is excited to deliver a community that residents are proud to call home."
Situated on a 20-acre site near North Gary Road and West Hunt Highway, Stella boasts 12 two- and three-story buildings. The community offers a variety of amenities including a resort-style swimming pool with adjacent lawn and outdoor pavilion, pickleball courts, two dog parks, and relaxing gardens with fruit trees and fountains. Residents can choose from one-, two-, or three-bedroom apartment homes with various layouts and signature amenities such as private enclosed yards or patio options and detached single-car garages. The apartments are finished with elegant quartz countertops, hardwood-style flooring, stainless steel appliances, high-speed internet access, ceiling fans, full-size washer and dryer, smart thermostats, and a smart hub.

Stella is also pet-friendly and conveniently located near multiple outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, or exploring the nearby San Tan Mountain Regional Park. Additionally, residents will have easy access to retail options along Hunt Highway as well as nearby cities like Queen Creek, Mesa Gilbert Chandler via Loop 202.
The area surrounding Stella also offers numerous employment opportunities with companies like Liberty Mutual, Deloitte, Dignity Health, and Isagenix located along the Loop 202 employment corridor. Arizona State University's new Mesa City Center, a state-of-the-art digital media learning center, is also just a 10-minute drive away. The community is also close to two airports - Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport and Chandler Municipal Airport.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, visitors were able to tour the model unit and explore the professionally decorated clubhouse and community amenities. As part of their commitment to community engagement, Thompson Thrift presented a check to local non-profit organization Manes and Miracles.
