PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transact, the leader in innovative payment and mobile credential solutions for a connected campus, has been named the Customer Choice Award Winner for Best Mobile Payment Solution by Card Not Present (CNP), the independent online media voice for the operators in the card not present payments space. The CNP award underscores the Transact commitment to innovation in the products and services it brings to campus life. Its student audience demands advanced solutions and expects ease of use from their mobile devices. Facilitating $46 billion in payments annually, Transact Integrated Payments meets and exceeds those user expectations and enables client schools to integrate financial obligations, process payments and disbursements, send electronic bills, create and manage multiple eCommerce environments, and process in-person payments.
"Mobile payments are the backbone of our organization, and it is a great honor to be recognized not only by Card Not Present, but also by the mobile-centric clients and organizations we serve," explained Laura Newell-McLaughlin, Transact executive vice president, Payments.
The college audience has also recognized Transact's commitment to innovation, as the company announces that they've signed their 100th International Payments client, the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut.
"The student population at the University of Hartford includes students from 44 different countries. Transact International Payments is the next step in offering them more intuitive payment options. With the student never needing to leave the Transact platform, there is a better sense of security and sense of ease for them while making their payment. I am happy we finally made the decision to implement this product for the upcoming Fall semester," said Jennifer Furgerson, Bursar, University of Hartford.
This year, Transact was also recognized with a 2022 Silver Stevie® Award in the FinTech Solution Category for International Payments for their payments solution, which accepts 134 currencies and allows students from over 162 countries to select popular alternative payment methods (APMs) like Alipay and WeChat.
