PHOENIX, July 2, 2025 ~ TransPak, a global leader in crating, packaging, and logistics solutions, has announced the grand reopening of its Phoenix facility. The facility, which offers climate-controlled warehousing, is expected to create up to 50 new jobs in the Phoenix area. This expansion will allow TransPak to better serve industries such as semiconductor, aerospace, and technology.
According to Alex Kummer, EVP Western US at TransPak, the company is committed to serving its customers in the Phoenix metropolitan area. "This expansion allows TransPak to better serve industries requiring specialized crating and packaging solutions, particularly in the semiconductor and aerospace sectors," Kummer stated.
The newly reopened facility boasts 50,000 square feet of climate-controlled storage space. It features a state-of-the-art insulated curtain wall enclosure that carefully maintains the environment at 75 degrees Fahrenheit (+/- 5 degrees). The relative humidity is also controlled between 30% and 60% to ensure optimal storage conditions for sensitive products. Additionally, the facility offers a nitrogen air purge service for semiconductor tools that require optical connectors to remain clean and dry. This specialized offering highlights TransPak's dedication to meeting the unique needs of the semiconductor industry.

Walter Hernandez, Phoenix operations manager at TransPak, emphasized the importance of proper storage for climate-sensitive products. "Products that are sensitive to climate conditions can be ruined if stored improperly," Hernandez explained. "That's certainly a concern here in Phoenix. With TransPak's climate-controlled storage, customers can rest assured that their products will be protected from any damage that might be caused by rising temperatures or high humidity."
In addition to its climate-controlled warehousing services, the facility also offers a range of integrated services such as warehousing and logistics solutions. With over 165,000 square feet of storage and fulfillment space available, customers can easily access affordable warehousing for their imports and exports. The location is strategically positioned within 30 minutes of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, making it an ideal choice for efficient transportation and distribution.
TransPak Phoenix is equipped to serve a wide range of industries, including semiconductor and technology, aerospace and defense, automotive and industrial equipment, and data centers and server infrastructure. To learn more about the facility and its services, visit their website.
