PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--University of Phoenix is pleased to announce the appointment of Doris Savron, vice provost, to the Career Connectors Board of Directors. In this role, Savron will be supporting the Career Connectors organization's mission of empowering career seekers and organizations to succeed by connecting them with deep market insights and high-caliber coaching. Savron is one of four new members recently appointed to the Career Connectors board.
"I'm excited to work alongside very talented board members who are passionate about supporting job seekers," shares Savron. "The organization's mission sits at the nexus of workforce development and higher education, and I'm proud to be a part of it. Career Connectors is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building a better community – one organization, one career at a time. Hosting multiple networking, career and educational events per year, the Phoenix-based organization seeks to deliver content that is relevant and actionable for professionals. Free professional services include resume reviews, LinkedIn coaching, social media coaching and educational opportunities.

Savron's career spans 30 years in healthcare, information technology and academia. In her role as Vice Provost, she oversees strategy for degree, certificate and course offerings, design of curriculum and student learning outcomes for the University. She works collaboratively with her team members to innovate academic solutions that enable the University to provide exceptional student experiences and learning environments to support student success.
