Vice Mayor Vincent Manfredi is in the ballot and ready to continue his service to Maricopa.
MARICOPA, Ariz. - Arizonar -- The field of primary election candidates for Maricopa City Council is set and Vice Mayor Vincent Manfredi is running to stay on council for 4 more years.
Four candidates, three incumbents including Vincent Manfredi, filed paperwork, and submitted signatures before Monday's 5 p.m. deadline.
Three seats are open on the board this time around.
Manfredi states "I want to continue to serve because I love this job, and I love having an impact on Maricopa. My family and I are engaged in this city, and we share the same worries and concerns as our fellow Maricopans. Being in a position to help the community and effect change is awesome.

I want to continue lowering tax rates and cutting spending and continue to leverage my experience, relationships and positions – I serve on four transportation committees throughout the state – to improve State Route 347 and provide alternate transportation routes to ease congestion and commutes for all of us."
Manfredi is advertising director and minority owner of InMaricopa.
