PHOENIX, June 3, 2024 ~ Wood Partners, a national multifamily developer, has announced the commencement of construction on two new communities in Arizona - Alta Dove Valley in Phoenix and Alta 87 in Gilbert. These developments mark Wood Partners' 24th project in the state since the Great Financial Crisis.
According to Todd Taylor, Managing Director for Wood Partners, Phoenix has been experiencing a significant influx of people due to its favorable climate and thriving economy. He also noted that there is a shortage of housing in the metropolitan area and that thousands of units will be needed to address this issue. Despite current market challenges, Wood Partners remains optimistic about the future of the wider Phoenix market and is excited to bring these exceptional apartment communities to the highly sought-after submarkets of Gilbert and North Phoenix.
Alta Dove Valley will be located at 2725 West Dove Valley Road and is situated across from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company's new $65 billion semiconductor fabrication facility. This development is expected to create around 6,000 jobs. The community will consist of 380 units with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans. Residents can look forward to amenities such as a pool and spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, coworking spaces, a two-story clubhouse, and a sky deck. Groundbreaking for Alta Dove Valley took place in May 2024 and it is projected to be completed by 2026.

Similar to Alta Dove Valley, residents at Alta 87 can enjoy amenities such as a pool and spa, fitness center, pickleball courts, coworking spaces, and a two-story clubhouse. This will be Wood Partners' third community in Gilbert. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
