~ Mesa City officials have announced that Warner Road will be temporarily closed for construction and paving improvements managed by Redpoint. The closure will begin at 4:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3 and will last until 10 p.m. on Thursday, November 13.
The affected section of Warner Road, from approximately 2,300 feet west of Ellsworth Road to 600 feet west of Ellsworth Road, will be completely closed to through traffic for the entire duration of the project. However, business access will be maintained.
In addition to this closure, there will be a final paving phase that requires a complete closure of the same section on Monday, November 24 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Detours will be clearly marked to guide drivers safely around the work zone.

Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time and follow posted signs while driving near the construction area. They are also reminded to use caution when traveling near construction zones and to maintain local access whenever possible.
According to city officials, this closure is necessary for Redpoint crews to complete roadway reconstruction and paving operations in order to improve the safety and quality of the Warner Road corridor. The detours provided are as follows: north and south on Ellsworth Road to Elliot Road and Ray Road, then proceed to Sossaman Road; or north and south on Sossaman Road to Elliot Road and Ray Road, then proceed back onto Ellsworth Road.
The City of Mesa urges motorists to cooperate with these temporary closures in order for the project to be completed efficiently and effectively.
